GOING on here is what probably resulted in one of the first news stories being transferred to the GAZETTE and the midwest, at large, concerning the rocket shooting at Keweenaw Point. Sgt. Guy Snyder of the Gratiot Lake air base is transmitting to the base from Copper Harbor. Taking dictation from a Gazette newsman, he stands beside Robert Richards who provided the snowcats for the absorbing movement into the Point region. (Gagnon of Gazette)
